5 out of 5 starsBought this for my wife for a Valentine’s day gift to represent our two kids and she loves it. It’s as beautiful as the pictures and she has been wearing it everyday. Love the unique and modern construction, the raw stones and the shape of the band.

Frequently asked questions
ELECTROFORMING
This process allows me to explore opportunities that are not feasible with traditional metal-working techniques but unfortunately does not allow for resizing once the ring is complete.
Electroforming, in the simplest terms, is the intricate process of controlling a metal deposit of copper onto a conductive surface whether it be an organic or inorganic material. This process is similar to plating...but is done over a much longer period of time - and can be anywhere from 2 - 12 hours. Basically a thick “skin” of metal is built up into a rigid surface - which in this case is the ring or pendant form. Various patinas and finishes are possible after the initial electroforming process is complete.
Care instructions
Each piece has been hand-sculpted, electroformed in copper.
To preserve its finish, please do not use heavy commercial abrasives, tarnish removers or ultrasonic cleaners. Pieces should be worn with care and not during aggressive activities or long exposures to water - shower, swimming, etc. Avoid strikes or blows to the minerals or gemstones. A warm, natural oxidation will occur after repeated wear or use. A soft polish cloth can be used to lightly buff the surface. Storing in an airtight container when not in use will also help preserve its finish.
PATINA
BLACKENED COPPER
Rings have been treated with LOS - Liver of Sulfur. It is a surface treatment / patina and will wear in time. Keeping the surface free of excessive water will help preserve the finish. The exposed copper will darken and oxidize with continuous use to a beautiful, natural patina.
REAPPLY PATINA
As you wear your piece the patina will wear with time - this varies from person to person. Should you want to freshen your piece with a new patina, you can do so with liver of sulfur which can be purchased online. Personally I prefer the gel variety that is premixed and apply as needed.
Will my finger turn green?
Some people green and others do not. Greening is simply the ring reacting to the air and your body's chemistry. We are constantly releasing chemicals from our bodies sometimes resulting in a reaction with the metal surface. This will not effect the integrity of the ring. Electroformed pieces will not be affected …but alkaline levels in some persons bodies may be high and may cause greening along the base of the finger - this is difficult to predict - as everyone's chemistry is different.
Greening is not harmful and can be removed with non-gel toothpaste.
If you are concerned with greening, you can apply jeweler's Skin Guard (available in a brush-on form) to the ring band to aid in preventing greening.
